Built by Homeschool Families,
for Homeschool Families
We know the frustration of juggling paper records, spreadsheets, and compliance anxiety — because we lived it. Homeschool Ledger was born from that frustration.
Empowering Families to Homeschool with Confidence
Homeschooling is one of the most meaningful things a family can do together. But the administrative burden — tracking compliance, creating records, generating transcripts — can steal time and energy from what matters most: teaching your kids.
We built Homeschool Ledger to take care of the paperwork so you can focus on education. No legal degree required. No spreadsheet expertise needed. Just open the app and record your day.
Our compliance data covers all 50 states, from the strictest (Pennsylvania, New York) to the most relaxed (Texas, Alaska), so every family can homeschool with confidence no matter where they live.

What We Stand For
Privacy First
Your family's educational records are private. We never sell your data, and your records are stored securely on your device and encrypted in the cloud. You own your data — always.
Simplicity
Homeschooling is already complex. Your record-keeping app shouldn't add to that complexity. We obsess over making every feature as simple and intuitive as possible.
Accuracy
We take compliance data seriously. Every state requirement in the app is sourced from official state education websites and trusted homeschool advocacy organizations.
Family Freedom
We believe families should have the freedom to educate their children according to their own values, methods, and pace. We're here to support that freedom, not define it.
Continuous Improvement
We listen to our users. Every feature in the app started as feedback from real homeschool families. We're committed to building what you actually need.
Honest Pricing
The core app is free, forever. Premium features are affordable and clearly described. No surprise charges, no feature lock-downs, no gotchas.
Why We Built Homeschool Ledger
Like many homeschool families, we started out keeping records in a binder, then a spreadsheet, then a combination of four different apps that never quite worked together. Every year-end review was a scramble through email folders, Google Docs, and sticky notes.
When Pennsylvania's evaluation time came around, we weren't confident our records would hold up. They did — but the anxiety wasn't worth it.
We knew there had to be a better way. We looked at every homeschool app on the market and found that most fell into one of two categories: bare-bones lesson planners that ignored compliance entirely, or complex systems designed for private school administrators rather than families.
So we built Homeschool Ledger — an app that understands the actual homeschool experience. One that knows Pennsylvania wants dated lesson descriptions and an evaluator report. That knows New York requires quarterly progress reports. That knows Texas has essentially no requirements at all and doesn't bother you with compliance anxiety if you live there.
We're a small team of homeschool parents who build this app alongside our own families' education journeys. Every feature in the app is one we've needed ourselves.
Thank you for trusting us with your family's records.
